Back in my blog on 20th August, some of the speech subjects were undecided. I've got the concepts for them all now, so here are those gaps, filled:
Level 2 - Understanding your Leadership Style - "Trainees" - A discussion of the various trainees I've worked with throughout my career. A discussion of what works, and (probably more entertainingly) what doesn't. It is based on the premise that my leadership style is what the Pathways manual calls "coaching".
Level 3 - Negotiate the Best Outcome - "Dallas" - A real-life negotiation I was involved in, anonymised by the use of characters from the 80s drama "Dallas".
Level 2 - Understanding Your Communication Style - "What is a Jemmy?" - A talk that over-analyses the over-analytical communication style, through the medium of housebreaking.
Level 2 - Introduction to Toastmasters Mentoring - "The Brighouse Experience" - A talk about my mentor, and the process that led to the publication of my legal textbook.
Yay!
